A veteran of 25 years in the book publishing business, Houston will also talk about how electronic publishing is changing our world. She will also comment on the dynamics of self-publishing.  This event is part of the 15th Annual Chippewa Valley Book Festival.

Mulch & Composting Workshop

Eau Claire County UW-Extension Horticulture Educator Erin LaFaive will be here to teach you all about mulch and composting for your garden. This presentation will provide information on how to create compost from common household kitchen scraps and yard waste. The same techniques to composting can be applied to a type of gardening called lasagna gardens.
