Knit & Crochet Club

Meets 6 pm -8 pm on the third Monday of the month, and 10 am - 12 every first Saturady.  An informal club to work on projects, chat, and troubleshoot together!  Bring your projects and we'll supply some coffee and pattern books for you to check out.  No sign up required - just drop by when you can.

LifeStory Memoir Writing Workshop

Want to record your family history for generations to come? Join us for an inspiring and entertaining two hours of discussion, demonstration, writing and sharing of memoir and family history with Charley Kempthorne of the LifeStory Institute. Some of the topics to be covered are: Basic techniques of narrative (history) writing; Using a Slice of Life Journal to keep life history as you live it; Writing extended captions for family photographs; and Publishing your history for your family and friends. Free and open to all, but please call 715-346-1544 to register, as space is limited.

Adult Craft Night

Learn how to make a variety of tissue paper flowers. Take them home to use for gift wrapping, or create a bouquet for yourself or for a friend. Browse library resources about paper crafts and flowers. 6 - 8 pm in the Community Room. Sign up required for this event. 

Adult Craft Night

Join us for our first Adult Craft Night of the summer!  We will be making a variety of handmade items out of discarded library books.  Bring home some paper lanterns, word magnets, and a homemade journal.   Sign up is required for this program.  Sign up at the library or call 715-839-5029.

Calling all adults to escape the ordinary and get inspired this summer by reading about extraordinary people!  Read stories about some of “America's generation of citizen heroes and heroines who came of age during the Great Depression and the Second World War and went on to build modern America” in Tom Brokaw’s The Greatest Generation and discuss your favorite(s) on
